To get started on your assessment task, please follow the instructions below; You will be presented with a scenario consider your initial thoughts and how you would approach decision-making for each scenario. You will individually create a response to each scenario. Your response will include: The decision you made in response to the scenario What information supports the decisions you made? Consider laws, regulations, rights and ethics frameworks, curriculum frameworks, and child safe standards. Be specific and provide examples. When making decisions, you need to link your scenarios to the 2 learning outcomes each. Finally, you will write a critical reflection on the process of responding to these scenarios. This will include answers to the following questions: Reflect on your decision-making process for the scenarios. How did your decision-making process work? Did it change over the course of the 3 scenarios? In analysing each of the 3 scenarios, what strategies did you use to find and select information to support your decision making? Discuss the overall process of working with others to problem solve and collaborate. Based on the experience you had using this information to support your decision making, what would you do differently? How would you further this skill? ASSESSMENT CRITERIA Your 3 scenarios responses will be graded according to the following descriptors: Descriptor 1: Appropriateness of decision/Recommended action addressing scenario problem Descriptor 2: Justification of decision demonstrating understanding of 5 learning outcomes Descriptor 3: Link to relevant frameworks/national law/regulation/policy/information REFLECTION Your reflection will be graded based on the following descriptors: Descriptor 1: How your decision-making process changed over the 3 scenarios. Descriptor 2: How your strategies and analysis changed over the 3 scenarios Descriptor 3: How they worked with others to solve the scenario problems.
