THEOLOGY PAPER ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS OVERVIEW John’s Gospel is unique among the 4 Gospels (90% of the material in John is not found in the other 3 gospels). Because John is written later than the others, his theological content is more developed on certain key doctrines. In this paper, you will examine the unique theology of John on one of three key doctrines that he writes about. INSTRUCTIONS You will write a paper examining one of the following three doctrines as described/developed by John in his gospel: Jesus as Deity, the Holy Spirit or Eternal Life. You must only focus on this doctrine as described/developed by John in his Gospel. • The paper must contain at least 5 full pages of content (not including title page) and must be double-spaced. • The paper must have an introduction and conclusion. • The paper must reference the Bible, the Köstenberger and Morris textbooks, and at least two other outside academic/scholarly sources. • The paper must have proper reference and citation (2-3 citations per page) using the Turabian format. • Failure to cite quotations properly will result in a lower grade.
